| Characteristics: This local grape gets its name “cherry” from its big berries and cherry-like flavour. Traditionally used as blending grape for famous wines such as Chianti. Rich and fruity with notes of black cherry and sweet spices on the nose. The pallet is also full of fruit and spice with enough tannin to pair with game dishes or rich stew.
